Five hardy cyclists James, Jim, Paul, Roger and Sylvia braved the cold on a dry and bright morning for the group's second ride of the year. Departing from the George in Brixworth the ride headed north west taking in Creaton, Hollowell, Guilsborough and Cold Ashby to Welford for a coffee stop at Mini Meadows Farm. Refreshed and warmed the group posed for the customary photo with Jim doing the technical bit. Thankfully the spots of rain that had threatened on the descent from Cold Ashby had now stopped. The group headed back to Brixworth through Naseby and Cottesbrook, to lunch at The George where they were joined by Dorothy. An undulating 23 miles with 1532 feet of ascent at an average of 10.53 miles per hour.
