Well, the answer was yes so for only the second time this year (we did get an earlier ride in April when it rained on us) the group met for a very pleasant morning`s ride. We welcomed a new member Mick Wright during the meet up at the George carpark in Brixworth at 10:00 - it was already a beautiful morning, blue sky and a few fair weather cumulus clouds floating by. Our new member Mick Wright is already a keen cyclist and came on his first ride with us and we sincerely hope he will join us for more rides. So all five of us Mick, Sylvia, Paul, Jeff and Colin set off for Creaton and soon passed through Hollowell and Guilsborough, heading for our comfort stop at Thornby Hall where we relaxed for 45 minutes in the garden for coffee and light refreshments. We returned to the George at Brixworth cycling through Naseby, Haselbech and Cottesbrooke covering in total 19 miles with some challenging climbs totalling over 2000 ft at an average speed of just over 11 mph. Conditions had been prefect for this ride. Four of us celebrated with lunches at the George
