Stoke Albany June 2025

On one of the hottest days of the year a small group ventured out to enjoy the beautiful gardens at Stoke Albany House, not far from Desborough. The gardens cover 4 acres and include a woodland walk, a splendid long herbaceous border, a peaceful white garden, roses everywhere (including all over the tennis court fences) together with further areas to explore. Members made full use of the circular seat which was beautifully positioned in the shade!

The gardens are open every Wednesday in June and July from 2.00 to 4.30 at a cost of £6.00. Unfortunately they do not serve tea and cake!! Whilst there we met up with the Gardening Group from Oundle u3a.
